Leaving Seoul

Leaving Seoul heading towards Sokcho, the gateway town to Seoraksan National Park. The drive is about 300 km through the country on country roads. Very scenic.
Lots of military vehicles/camps. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that North Korea is merely 50km away. Maybe that's the reason.

    Do you need a special permit to get to NK? guess its gonna be nice to see how SK was before the economic boom.

    Yes you need a visa to enter NK.
